About your instructor:
Nicole started ballet at age 2, and quickly fell in love with classical ballet. She trained at various studios to get as many classes as possible. All free time was filled will dance classes focusing strongly on ballet.

She auditioned and was accepted to the prestigious Cleveland Ballet. The Cleveland Ballet was first founded in Cleveland in 1935 by Russian émigré Sergei Popeloff, a dancer associated with Anna Pavlova, and lasted until 1942. In 1972, the ballet was re-founded by Dennis Nahat and Ian Horvath as a dance school. Now run by Gladisa Guadalupe as of 2014.

Dennis Nahat is known for his work on The Turning Point (1977- starring Mikhail Baryshnikov), Why Dance? (2005) and Miss Hill: Making Dance Matter (2014).

While at the Cleveland ballet one of the notable performances Nicole was in was Danse des petits cygnes From Swan Lake. also known as "Dance of the cygnets". Performing this can be very challenging because all four dancers must look the same down to every little head movement while also having to dance with arms interlocked with the other dancers for the entire dance.

Suffering a few injuries Nicole chose to continue her love of ballet by sharing it with others through teaching.
